A Tribute to Retiring EIC Prof. Fred Sinowatz
EAVA member and honorary member Professor Fred Sinowatz has provided our international community with decades of service as Editor-In-Chief at Anatomia, Histologia, Embryologia. To show our gratitude we present a ‘A Retirement Tribute to Professor Fred Sinowatz’ signed by the new Editor-In-Chief William Pérez, and Associate Editors Johannes Seeger, Pieter Cornillie, Brooke H. Dubansky, Francesco Abbate, Catrin S. Rutland and everyone at AHE. It has been published in AHE.

Our EAVA Young Generation of Veterinary Anatomists meeting is officially OPEN for registration and abstract submission for just 80 Euros.
Our 2026 YGVA meeting will be in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, 22-24th July hosted by Dr Nedžad Hadžiomerović and Dr Faruk Tandir at The University of Sarajevo – A Meeting of Cultures. Our next main congress will be in Wrocław in 2027.

Four Congress Scholarship Awards announced
We are delighted to announce up to four Congress Scholarships worth up to 350 Euros each for PhD/doctoral members.

We are delighted to announce Jeroen Carlier has been awarded this scholarship. Jeroen is a PhD student at Ghent University, Belgium supervised by Prof. Dr. De Spiegelaere and will visit Prof. Di Giancamillo (University of Milan, Italy). They met at the XXXVth EAVA congress in Toulouse, France.
