we did the same on a smaller scale by connecting QR-codes and a flash-based e-learning program. This worked well during the the period of free usage of the QR-codes. However, we try to work now ‘the other way round’. In the assignments the e-learning program or study guide is leading and in those the relevant specimens are mentioned (not by number, but by location, in order to prevent updating the programs if you changed the specimens).
